A little about us and this shop we have created for you.

We are John and Meneka, huz and charming wife, and we have two super lovely, entitled little ratbags. You’ll see plenty of them around this site and on our socials. Mostly they’re helpful, but mainly they whinge that they’re hungry even though all we do is prepare colourful, healthy, super-food induced, organic snack plates all day long.

Anyway, we have had a bricks and mortar store in Hawthorn for the past 12 years and now as the world has changed and we have changed, and change change change, so we have made this lovely, simple, easy to use one stop online shop for ALL your pantry staples, PLUS a very tiny handful other complimentary products that we have very carefully chosen for both business integrity and product provenance. These other brands are also owned independently and usually involve a family like ours. People we have dealt with for a very long time, and products that feature heavily in our own home.

Every item in our shop is either certified organic or biodynamic. There is no conventional goods on our site. This is a value system for us, not just a business model. Our family have lived and consumed in this way for decades.

You’ll see that we give you an overview of where we source everything from when you go to each Category; the overwhelming majority of our products are grown, produced, and made in Australia, therefore supporting local farmers, businesses, and communities. We are super proud of the ethics in our supply chains and the integrity we have build in our brand over the past 12 years. We are absolutely a small, in fact tiny business; we pack all our goods ourselves (the ratbags help), write out labels, heat seal all the bags with a fancy hair straightener (true story), do the deliveries, and ensure that a lot of love and good energy is sprinkled in to every order.
